Curtins have had two projects shortlisted at the 11th Place North West Regional Construction Awards.

Both the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts (LIPA) and the Materials Innovation Factory, University of Liverpool have been shortlisted for the Liverpool Regional Project of the Year Award. As well as both being nominated for the Building Project of the Year.

The awards are a celebration of outstanding examples of best practise and commitment; as well as collaborative and sustainable project delivery across the built environment.

Professor Peter McDermott, chair of the judging panel adds:

There have been some minor adjustments to the categories this year, which has served to focus the judges on those that are demonstrating how collaboration and innovation are a characteristic of the North West region”.

The winners, announced in June will go head-to-head with other regions for the National Constructing Excellence Awards in November.
